AF_PACKET and select

I'm trying to implement Linux style AF_PACKET support for an
embedded tcp/ip stack and have a question about select() in
this regard.

If there are >= 2 packets in the packet-queue (or whatever it' called),
does select() then return >= 2 or just 1? The latter to signify only one
socket is readable.
