AES on my laptop

Greetings. I have been searching various newsgroups and I just want to have
one thing cleared up. I can do WPA security on my laptop and wi-fi router at
home, and it is using the TKIP type of WPA security. I just purchased a new
wi-fi router for work and I set it up to use WPA security with AES. The new
laptops I have at work can connect to this new wi-fi router just fine because
I can select AES for the wi-fi connection on the laptops, but when I attempt
to connect my home laptop to the work wi-fi router it will not work. I do
not have the option of AES on my home laptop, so my question consists of this:

Is there anything I can download to get AES to be an option on my laptop for
its wi-fi connection?

It would be a driver/firmware upgrade for the wireless hardware on your
laptop. Check the manufacturers web site for that if it exists at all..

Also if you name the specific manufacturer and model of your laptop someone
may be able directly to the update...

The hardware in your wifi NIC may or may not be capable of supporting
AES; if your wifi capability is built-in, check the laptop
manufacturer's web site for an updated driver; if you're using an
external wifi NIC (USB or PCMCIA), then check the appropriate mfr's site.

Thank you for the quick response. I thought about this after I posted. I
checked it a moment ago, and if I had all the model info correct there were
some updates for my driver. I will try them tonight and see what happens.

Thank you for the quick response. I thought about this after I posted. I
