I have a difficult indoor location but only need coverage in a 90 degree
sector (eg not 360). There are lots of articles on the net about aerial
design (Pringles cans etc) but....

Can this sort of aerial mod be done to most Wireless Routers? eg are the
aerials removable or do you have to hack them open to gain (no pun in 10
did) to get to access to the connections?

Is there a favorite wireless access point that is "mod friendly"?

They will do eaxctly what you want on most any AP on the market.

Even many of the most basic cheap AP's have removable antenna's.

e.g. Linksys WAP, Dlink DWL900+ or 2000 for example
