Advice on Router selection

I have been happily using the Netgear DG834 (and the 814 before it) for
many years.

I now need a facility it does not have and would be grateful for advice
for a good, reliable, reasonably priced alternative.

I use the port-forwarding feature a lot (20+ entries). The DG834 is
limited in that you cannot alter the outgoing port to be different from
the incoming port.

I now have several machines that are limited to using a specific port so
I need to map different incoming ports to the same port on different
machines.

Any advice welcome.

Use Port Triggering instead of port forwarding

I have done some Googling on this.

As far as I can see this is not relevant here as the connection is
initiated remotely so I have to use port forwarding.
