Advanced login and password for BT Home Hub

Can anyone hep me with the Advanced Login and Password for the Bt Home Hub
(White Box) they are currently supplying free to 8Meg upgrade customers.
I need to check the firewall settings for VPN use.

Fairly standard for quite a few & for those who don't, they use admin
password. It's up to you to change them if you want to....

It's not a big issue, really.

The router is shipped with wireless security activated and also blocks
wide area network access to the admin pages.

You'd have to crack the wireless security before getting access to the
router.

Netgear are a lot worse - they ship wireless kit without security turned
on and with default passwords.

AS do D link, Lynksis & 3Com the last time I looked, in fact the only
one which I have noticed having anything other than default is the
Netgear DG834GT issued by SKYNET, but then again with them their
default is SKY.

Don't blame the manufacturers because their users don't give a shite
about security.....

When a router is shipped *pre-configured* there is no excuse for it to
not be shipped with security activated, IMHO.
