Thanks once again for everyone's help, regarding network cabling, I now have
an excellent idea of what is required to set up a professional looking
network.

After receiving my first quote, I've pretty much decided to do it myself,
with the help of the building/electrical contractor.

I've got a good idea where to source cable, plates & tools but I still need
some help on sourcing the
following: (i'm trying to keep it to a small (ish) budget)

a 24 port switch - ideally with some remote functionality (ability to reset
and chack status mainly - nothing major)

a cabinet - we don't have much equipment, just the server (full tower),
switch, patch panel, router/firewall and possibly another desktop case or
two.

a router - at the moment we have a cheapish DLink ADSL Modem/Router which
occasionally needs resetting - Ideally like to replace this with a more
reliable one.

If any one has any recommendations on any of these - once again it will
really be appreciated.

Thanks Again

Ben

Have a look at www.easyetrader.co.uk
They are quite good and have a corporate account setup etc etc.
I should think that they should have a lot of what you want and I think they
have an advice line too.

JAM.
