ADSL Wireless - Draytek the best but look like s*** ?

Are they technically the best but have cases designed by a blind man ?

was thinking the new netgear 834m i think but draytek always seem to
be recommended but they look awful

maybe they'll read and make some nice shiny ones!! lol

On a more serious note, I do think wireless equipment should look nice, if
you have a nice office and need to place something to do with the network in
full view, then bad looks could ruin the asphetics.

I was looking at shiny Netgear for 7 days while phoning helpline in India,
re- installing and un-installing (it didn't !)
software and swearing a lot, the hardware didn't work either..., then took
it back.

Boy, the Draytek looked BEAUTIFUL when it worked in just 10 mins !

point taken - the new wireless adsl router when it comes out looks like
the one i'll get - has a printer port direct into the router which has
suprised me

wish they had a shiny case though !

you have to be carefull, they can break with firmware updates!! Netgear do
have rubbish support, but at least they don't quible about replacing.

Mine hasn't missed a bit since I bought it in May. I know there is a newer
firmaware, but if it isn't broken...
Apparently people fail to disconnect it before updating the firmware.
