Hi guys!

I have set up a network with 4 PCs, they are all connected to a switch, also
on the switch I have an ADSL modem for the internet. On 3 PCs I have Windows
XP running and I had no problems setting up the ADSL internet on those PCs,
but I can't set up the ADSL internet on the PC with Windows 98.
Does any now how to do this?

Regards,
Mystique

Your ISP is probably limiting you to 3 IP addresses. Get a router.

I recommend contacting your ADSL provider for help. They know how to
set up a computer to use their service.

We in this newsgroup don't know anything about your ADSL service, how
you set it up on XP, or how you tried to set it up on 98.

XP has built-in support for PPPoE, but 98 doesn't. If your ADSL
service uses PPPoE, you'll have to install client software, such as
RASPPPoE, on 98. It's available at http://www.raspppoe.com

OK, if you know that then you must know what the problem is.

So, what's the problem?
