Hi..

I have Origo ADSL router connected to ST Labs Broadband router.

There seams to be some duplication between the functions of the ADSL
ethernet modem and the broadband rounter. eg, both have firewalls etc.

All pcs are connected in the the ST Labs Broadband router. All pc on the
newwork can see each other shear files.. Everything is great.. Can connect
to the ip os the ST labs router to change settings works great.

From the WAN socket it connects to my Origo ASR-8100 ADSL Router. This
connects to the DSL supply form the phone comapny and seems to work fine.

But, i can t connect to the internal IP address of the modem, when its
connected to the Router, only when connected driectly to the pc.

Are these to bit compatible? why the simmlar names? Boradban rounter and
ADSL router. yet only Broadband rother (a hub like decive) has no
connection to the ADSL supply.

hope you can help

regards

Sounds like you have 1 too many routers. You only really need a switch
connected to the Origo. I guess the reason you can't access the Origo
from behind the ST is because they're on different networks and the
internal ip address is non-routable.
