I dont know if the lady at BT was humouring me, but on enquiring about adsl
today, she said that they had just extended the line distance to 6km, BUT
now they are doing trials on extending it to 10km. This is very hopeful.
does anyone have any more info on this please?

This was discussed some time ago .. and various people tried various
sources of information to get more from BT on this. No-one knew
anything - suggesting that the advisors are wrong.

Its probably the same lady that keeps spurting the wrong info too )
