tread carefully, ADSL ethernet modems don't always get on with
routers. The choice is fairly small :-

the key is to know if the router wants the external IP address, how to
get the modem to give it to the router and whare to put in the
username and password stuff. If you understand all that you should
find a compatible pairing.
Hopefully someone who has actually done it will be along shortly.
