Anyone know if there is such a beast as a ADSL modem/Router with a USB port
the can connect to external USB hard drive to be used over the network ? a
bit like this one http://www.netgear.com/products/details/WGT634U.php only
with a modem built in.

Why not just connect an external modem to it?

Just wondered if there was a all in one solution, but I guess separates
maybe a better idea, if one thing breaks. I was looking at a Draytek 2600VG
but I think separates are a better idea with the option of a network HD..

D-link 300T modem
Netgear WGT634U
Sipura 3000 ATA
USB HD case

all for about the same price as a Draytek 260VG with more options!

Dave,

But no QoS. No printer port. Plus no end of hassle and firmware updates with
Netgear router...
Regards,
Martin

Good points, just it would be handy to have a networked HD rather than have
a PC sharing left on all the time. Pity the Draytek's USB port can't be used
for a USB HD ?
