The router isn't CAT anything - and there's certainly no incompatibility.
AIUI, CAT6 is simply a higher spec in respect of noise rejection than CAT5 -
but applies specifically to *cable* not to devices.
Assuming that these CAT6 ethernet cables will be used to connect one or more
computers to the router, they'll be perfectly ok?
