My daughter has just got BT Broadband via the Voyager 105 modem.
After installing everything worked fine, until the computer was turned off.
On restarting the modem was not recognised.
Re-install software and all is well again, until computer turned off.
I have just found that if the modem usb cord is unplugged and then plugged
in again, the modem
is recognised and it is then possible to connect.

I'm sure it's something simple but it has me foxed.

Running XP Home with SP2

Any advice would be appreciated.

Ed

Did you ever have the modem plugged in at any time /before/ the
installation process had finished?

Try uninstalling the drivers and then reinstalling them, making sure
that the modem is not plugged in whilst doing so.
