ADSL Internet Trouble

Hi,

A while ago I bought a Belkin Wireless Cable/DSL Gateway Router, Model
#F5D7230-4. Which is the 54G model.

I moved to a new house where i can only get BT ADSL, which obviously the
Cable/DSL router can't use because it doesnt support Ethernet so I went out and
bought an ADSL Modem, a Netgear DM602.

Now, i have managed to get them to connect together and allow me to connect to
the internet through wireless. But it's REALLY slow, slower than a 56k.

If i connect to the modem directly, the internet connection is fast, but when i
add in the Belkin Router it slows right down.

I turned the Belkin router into just an access point, and the Netgear modem is
acting as a DHCP Router.

Please can someone help to try and speed it up.

Many Thanks

Craig
