ADSL finally working - what are my chances on a refund from PIPEX?

My ADSL was activated on the 16th September but it's never worked. A nice
man from BT turned up today and put me on a shorter line and finally got the
modem to sync with the exchange.

As I've been paying since the 16th but the connection has not worked until
today is there any chance of getting those two weeks of no service refunded
from PIPEX?

Cheers for any help.

Dave.

You had a BT problem and you expect Pipex to pay for it?

Pipex should pay and then pipex should get refund from BT.
BT do not want to know adsl customers they always say contact
your ISP even if the problem is BT's fault .

LOL, thats a joke right?? If you were a customer that previously had, had
ISDN you could have been waiting longer then 2 weeks just for the change to
ADSL, also it was a problem (FAULT) at your end of the line, you had no
connection due to your wiring. It wasnt no fault of pipex at all, just cos
it took you 2 weeks to start investigating problems at your end you expect
them to refund you 2 weeks money??? As the saying goes.... You are 'aving
a laugh. If anyone is to blame its you.

It is what £10 at most.. It's not gonna be worth the effort required.
I would just be happy then got it sorted, instead of turning round and
saying that you are out of reach (that would have been simpler for them).

Thanks for judging me. I reported my lack of ADSL 2 days after my
activation date to PIPEX. It's taken till last Friday for PIPEX to sort out
an engineer. The problem was nothing to do with my wiring and nothing to do
with my kit. The problem was with the cable between my street cab and the
exchange, hence BTs problem as was confirmed by the engineer.
