ADS Progressive deterioration

The following seems inevitable:
ADSL employs unscreened pairs and achieves bandwidth by bi-directional
launching rf up to 100+kHz at some significant power level for each new
subscriber.
As the number of subscribers within a bundle increases unscreened
crosstalk must increase reducing signal to noise thresholds.
As numbers increase maximum range will decrease cutting off ADSL at
least the most distant subscribers.

such things were considered in great depth in setting the ANFP and its
power vs frequency limits with far end and near end crosstalk
featuring heavilty in the development of the aDSL standards as well.

Time will tell if they got their experiments and sums right.
