I was getting a message that I didn't have log on permissions on my XP Pro
PC to allow me to access it from other PC's on my home network. (2 XP pc's
one XP laptop and an XP Pro PC on a wireless network with a Draytek Vigor
2600Gi wireless router).

I go into local security policy>access this computer from the network , on
the XP Pro PC and add the names of the PC's on the rest of the network.

However it works fine until the XP pc reboots then I have to go and do it
again because it won't allow me to save the settings.

Ideally I would like to downgrade the XP Pro to XP Home, but I don't believe
that's an option?

How do I get it to save the settings?

So how can I get it to save the settings when I tell it the names of the
computers I want to allow access?
