STEP 1.)
* Is the XP Client receiving a valid IP? (If not this must be fixed.)
* Are the correct DNS addresses entered into the properties of the
NIC? (If not this must be fixed.) You must be able to PING the DOMAIN
controller by IP and DOMAIN name.
* Is the MS Windows Firewall on? (If this is true, you may try turning
it off if your Client is on the same SUBNET; at leaset until the DOMAIN
registration is complete.)
STEP 2.) Join the workgroup "VARGA" first. (This removes the XP Client
from the previous DOMAIN.) Reboot the Client before continuing.
STEP 3.) Join the DOMAIN.
