Adding a second router?

I've just upgraded from BT openworld via a D-Link DSL-G604T to BT Total
Broadband via a BT Home Hub. We also used a D-Link DBT-900AP Bluetooth
access point connected to the D-Link router but it won't work with the BT
Hub. Neither BT nor D-Link were able to help with this problem (much buck
passing).
What I would like to know is - can I connect the D-Link router to my phone
line as well as the BT Hub, (I need the BT one for BT Talk), so enabling me
to use the Bluetooth AP again?

I'd really appeciate some help with this as I know little about networking.

NORMALLY you cannot mix access points and routers, but there are
exceptions. You may have found the norm.
