I'm confused.

I have three PC's and a laptop. All connect to the internet via a wireless
broadband router.

All of them are on a network called xyz1234, apart from one.

How do I add this to the network?

Do I use the XP newtowrk wizard or the XP wireless network wizard?

They all seem to imply I'm setting up a new network which I'm not.

I just want to be able to access this 4th PXC from the others

How do you mean? Is one just saying it's on a different network or do
you mean it's not on the network at all?

Dunno, what is it?

Dunno, how are you connecting it and exactly what do you want to do?

Don't know, never used the XP wizard.

So it's on the network then, is it?

At a guess, right click on My Computer, select properties then click
the Network ID tab and change the network name in there. The other
ones should be able to connect to it anyway even if it's on a
different network.

Less vagueness required, maybe.....

what do you mean ? All but one have xyz1234 set as their workgroup ?
if so change the other to the same, right mouse My Computer,
Properties, Computer name tab, press the change button.

I assume he means on a different workgroup

I suggest www.wown.com - excellent site for networking

The PC I want to add to my home wireless network is currently in a workgroup
called 'workgroup'. Using right click on my computer and then change
workgroup, I change it to MSHOME the name of the network the other PCs are
on. It says welcome to Mshome. It tells me I need to reboot. I reboot, and
when I look at the workgroup, its still in 'workgroup'.

Uusually running the network setup wizard will do the job in XP.

Have run Network set up wizard and changed the workgroup from 'workgroup' to
mshome'.

After reboot on right clicking My Computer the workgroup is still
'workgroup'.
