Adding new wireless laptop to MN-500?

I'm getting a new laptop today with wireless built in. I already have a
laptop that I use with my MN-500. When my new laptop tries to connect will
the firewall for the MN-500 be a problem? Do I need to disable the firewall
in my MN-500 to get the new computer to connect? I have printed out my
settings but didn't know if there'd be any problems with the new laptop
trying to connect. Thanks.

Thank you VERY much for your reply. That will be one less thing to check
should I have problems configuring my wireless laptop!
Thanks again.

No need to disable the base station firewall because that is on the WAN, not
your LAN. When you go to set up the new laptop, just make sure you're
running Wireless Zero Configuration in Control Panel/Administrative
Tools/Services, and then go into Network Connections and Create a new
connection with your wireless turned on.

If there are other devices showing in there, make sure the aren't active
(right-click, Disable) and they're not bridged (right-click, Remove bridge).
If you're running DHCP on the router, it should be a piece of cake.

8-) Adding the built-in wireless should be much more simple than it seems,
as long as you have your Ethernet NIC and any other built-in networking
devices not in the picture.
