A bridge. However, generally it's easier and just as cheap to buy
something that's more than a bridge.

An access point will probably do. There are plenty that can get their
own IP address from your firewall by DHCP, and relay your Palm's DHCP
requests to the firewall too. Others, often those sold as "wireless
routers", may want to be DHCP servers themselves and have the wireless
segment as some other IP subnet that they add another layer of NAT to.
