How to Add TCP/IP Protocol?

I have a WinME computer connected to a Linksys router, and
a wireless PC using same router. Internet connection
works thru both PCs. I am trying to set up file and
printer sharing, but cannot get it to work (can't see the
WinME computer on the network). I found Knowledge Base
article 826812, which says to try adding TCP/IP protocol
to the WinME machine. But when I go into Network Config
and select Microsoft Protocols, TCP/IP is not an available
selection.

Any advice on how to complete this? I'm a novice, and I
have run out of ideas on what to try next.

Thanks!
