correctly and the like. because i am trying to set it uo with an xp i am
using the Newtowrk Setup Wizard on the XP CD. it installs fine and i have too
reboot. when i reboot it comes up saying: Cannot Complete the Network Setup
Wizard, and under it says: The wizard cannot find your network hardware. i

XP's Network Setup Wizard sometimes fails to find an installed network
adapter, probably because of bugs in the adapter's driver software.

Fortunately, you don't need to run the Network Setup Wizard on the
Windows 98 PC, even though Windows XP tells you to it.

To set up Windows 98 for networking without the Wizard, go to Control
Panel | Network and:

1. Add these network components if they aren't already present:

TCP/IP protocol
Client for Microsoft Networks
File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks

2. Remove these network components if they're present:

IPX/SPX protocol
NetBEUI protocol
Client for NetWare networks

3. Set the workgroup name to the same name as the Windows XP computer
uses (default for XP is MSHOME).

You're welcome. That's all that's needed to set up Windows 98 for
networking .
