im trying to setup a home ad hoc lan. ive got on pc with
a pci wlan card and a notebook with centriono. the
problem is that they dont se each other. i set up a home
wlan using win xp config tool, use ad-hoc in the options
but without success, any other ideas?

Put the notebook next to the pc.

Try both set to auto channel.

Try both fixed to same channel.

If one will not allow channel changes find out what channel it uses and fix
the other to that channel.



When the two wireless adaptors are from different manufactures it some times
a case of just messing around with all the setting until they connect??!!
