Ad-Hoc is based on two Wireless adapters.
Better connection? It would depend on the Router that you get vs.your
current Wireless adapters .
Some Routers have a better Antenna and stronger transmitter than some
adapters and might provide better signal.
In general Routers provide more stable connection and add security to the
System.
Given their current price there is No reason to stay with Ad-Hoc.
