Hi

I have a laptop which is running xp pro sp2 and another computer running xp
home sp2.

I have a built in wireless on the laptop and a belkin pci card in the other
machine.
I can find the signal from the other machine but i am unable to access the
shared files.

Can someone advise what i need to do to fix it.

Thanks

Hi

If you can access the Internet from both computers then your problem as to
do with the configuration of the Network Sharing.
Successful Sharing involves some general consideration in Network settings,

As well as specific adjustment of each computer according to what is allowed
to be shared.

Hi Jack

Have gone through and adjust things. But still cant access the files.

At least now the XP home machine can see the XP Pro machine but cant access
it. But the XP Pro still cant find the XP Home Machine at all.

I am not connecting these two machines to the internet. It is purely a
computer to computer connection.

Anymore suggestions

Thanks
