Active Directory DNS Replication and Delegation

I am attemprint to resolve a DNS replication and configuration problem that
probably stems from a incorrect initial installation of multiple subdomains.

This is a multisite configuration
The domain names and configuration looks like:
Default first Site domains (100MB Lan):
root.local windows 2000 server
TermSvr.root.local windows 2003 terminal server and file server
Email.root.local Windows 2000 & exchange 2000 server also hosts most
Active Directory user accounts

Site 1 Domain (linked to default first site with a T-1)
Site1.Root.Local

Site 2 Domain (linked to default first site with a T-1)
Site2.Root.Local


Site 3 Domain (linked to default first site with a T-1)
Site3.Root.Local


Site 4 Domain (linked to default first site with a T-1)
Site4.Root.Local

There is a full T-1 protected by a Cisco Pix firewall from the default first
site to the internet

I can not get active directory to replicate the DNS names for the various
domains consistently across the network.

This is very disappointing, I thought there was a expectation of a response
within one day from Micro$$$oft. It has now been 5 days and no response has
been seen.
Pretty lousy service in my opinion.

This is a peer group, not a managed one.
