I am currently trying to install exchange 2003 and I am at step 9 Installing
exchange 2003 on an exchange 2003 server and I am getting the following
error message...

All active directory connectors in the winodws forest must be upgraded to
the most current version before you can upgrade micrsoft exchange . The
following ADC server has not been upgarded!

Can anyone help me out here I ran domain prep and forest prep on the windows
2000 server which has the old exchange on!!

Any help would be great!

Thanks

Simon

Do you have an old ADC in place on the network or not?

Basically, you HAVE to use the Ex2003 SP1 ADCs.

You're going to have to update the ADCs on the old box.

When upgrading the ADC, do you have to reboot the server? I have a similar
issue with a not to stable server.

Thanks,
Joseph

I would reboot it. If for not other reason than to ensure that it persists
a reboot. I hate surprises.
