The Actiontec gt701-wg on FC2

I need help setting up my Actiontec gt701-wg on Fedora Core 2. It is
connected via USB, and I'm wondering whether it will work at all. From
what I've read it hasn't been done/isn't possible. Does anyone know,
or have any ideas on how I can do it?

Right now I am stuck in Windows 98 for all my internet activity, and
would love to be able to use the net while running FC2. Any advice is
appreciated. I am completely new to Linux (just installed it
yesterday!), but hopefully I can learn fast.
