Hi,
Can anybody please help me regarding any tool that is suitable for
high speed data
transfer.
I am doing some FTP file transfer on 100 mbs links on both sides.
The FTP transfer is just
occuring at the rate of 10 mbs . I have done the necessary tuning
for the TCP window size.
There is no other traffic , so it is expected that I should receive
transfer rate of more than
80mbs per second. So is there is any tool that is suitable for high
speed data transfer.

You haven't given us enough information to help you. What are the two
systems involved (what OS, what version)? What FTP server and client
are you using? What TCP tuning did you do? How are the client and
server connected? Have you tried this with just a crossover cable
between the two boxes?

I have measured transfer rates over 50 mbs using vanilla FTP servers and
clients (and untuned kernel 2.4.x, this was some time ago). This
suggests that something still isn't right with your systems or network.

Is the ethernet port on your linux box configured as 100 megabit, or
10 megabit?
