Hello

I can't seem to find this on the web anymore but when you want to use
servers that are in a workgroup whilst you are logged into a domain i'm sure
all you need to do is setup the appropriate accounts up on the workgroup
servers and then edit the registry of the client and add in the name of the
workgroup it is to search for

I cant seem to find details of this registry edit ? I think it is the list
of workgroups (& domains?) XP pro look for resources in ?

It all seemed straight forward when I did it a couple of years ago but the
link seems to have dissapeared from my favourites and I cant find it on the
web.

Hopefully someone here can point me in the right direction

Thanks

On the server, create a suitable useraccount and share.

On the client, create a batch file containing:

net use H: \\servername\sharename /user:domain\username password

Or, use MyLogon.

for each share. In the case of a workgroup server the domain is the server's
name.
