Hello Boze,
If the client get's the correct ip configuration including DG and DNS server
it should work, except you use some filtering or blocking internal in the
domain settings.
If your boss like to have control which machines are accessing internet or
special sites, you can use ISA server for filtering and securing your network.
Small remark, connecting the DC directly to the internet is not the best
solution. I assume you have multihomed it (2 NIC's. one internal network
and one to the internet)? Better connect all machines internally to a switch
and also connect the switch to the router, then you can configure your DC/DNS
as a forwarder and only the Name resolutions is done via the DC and the clients
go the internet without using the DC.
