Accessing files on server

I have a new 2003 server. I can access my files on it
using a 2000 pro machine but when I add an xp machines I
am having problems.
When setting up these xp system for the first time I could
access the server but the next day I cannot. I can see the
server and other computers. I can access other computers.

DHCP is running from an old DC but wins/dns are running on
2003 and the computer will log onto the network of 2003.

This is really bizarre. I need HELP!!!

I think I figured it out, but am not sure of the directions I went.
In the GOP I enabled the anonymous for everyone in Network Access. As soon
as I did that I could look at all shares.
Could I get some feedback on this? Everything is behind a firewall and only
not critical items are shared.
