You don´t tell very much about your environment in detail, but I´ll try to
clear it out for you.
You have two different networks. These cannot communicate with eachother
without a router that´s connected to both networks, ie one NIC on the
192.168.16.0 network with, for instance, 1 as the last octet and one NIC on
the 10.10.1.0 network with, for instance, 1 as the last octet.
This solution offers the possibility for all your workstations to
communicate with both networks.
However if you intend just to connect your workstation to both of the
networks you do in similar way, use two networkcards (nic) and assign them
IP according to what network they´ll belong to.
