I would like to be able to configure an IBM 8275 using it's built-in
web based configuration utility. I am running Windows 2000 and when I
enter the switch's IP into IE6's address bar the switch's web server
starts and the page partialy displays in the IE6 window but you can't
do anything with it. Tt turns out that the switch wants JAVA version 1
and I'm running whatever the latest version is as downloaded from the
SUN website.

Is there a simple way to fix this such that I can access the switche's
web server without losing the current JAVA version's
functionality...can I just load JAVA version 1 (if so, where can I get
it) and will it coexist with the current version? Will version 1 run
under W2K?

thanks for any information.
