access to Yahoo, not MSN

I'm having a problem where none of the machines on my network can access MSN,
www.microsoft.com, and various other websites (they bad sites seem to hvae
nothing in common). However, I can access Yahoo, Google, and others without
a problem. In fact, I can get to Yahoo but not Yahoo Mail.

When I ping www.microsoft.com, I get an IP back so it's not a DNS problem.
Some of the sites are SSL, others are not. I've disabled the router firewall
completely and nothing changed. I removed Norton Antivirus and no change.

THis began happening when I converted from a dynamic IP to a static with
SBC. I"ve called SBC but their only solution (as usual) is "reboot
everything and call us back".

Any ideas out there?

I would start by doing a tracert to those you can't get to and the ones you
can, see if you are starting out by taking the same route. When you issue
the ping command it firsts resovles the ip, are you getting a 207 network
for both msn and microsoft?
