How to access shared folders?

Hi, normally in Windows domain when I try to access to shared folder (using
domain user account) which I don't have a right to I get denial access
message. How can I force Windows to display access credentials dialog window?

connecting with a non-domain account i see that. (i.e a local account on a
machine you are using).

connecing with a domain account just denies entry.

what happens when you try from a cmd prompt :

i.e net use h: \\server\share /user:domain\user

should be prompted for a pass here.

There is no problem with mapping shared forlder do the new drive letter both
from net use command and Map Network Drive dialog window. But my idea was to
connect to the shared folder with different user name without maping to the
drive letter. When I'm connecting with non-domain account i see that too.
What if I try to connect with domain account? Regards.
