Access Point issue

We have HP pro-curve access points in 4 locations on the 5th floor.
We use channel balancing to minimize interference.
The signal strength is very good to excellent in most class rooms.
However two classrooms at the end of corridor A, receive a low signal.
What is odd .....these classrooms are about 60 feet from the access point
that covers that area.
If I add an external antenna to that access point will I get additional
coverage to the two classrooms?

Of course if you will attach external antenna it's coverage will be wider.
Check HP site for antennas that suit to your access point model.
