Basically I have a one way external trust relationship between Win2003
domain PROD (trusted) and a NT4 domain NORTH (trusting) set up successfully.
However we cannot see/access any printers from trusting domain to add into
the trusted domain.
I have created a GG on PROD DC - GG_Printing_Users with all the users, and a
local group on NORTH print server but cant see the prod domain users/groups -
permission issue.I cant get to the printer \\aNorthPS01\prt72081 from PROD.
However to test the trust is in place we create a Local Group and a dummy
printer (and apply relevant permission) on the NORTH PDC (NORTHDC01) and add
the global group from PROD. We can then create a printer on the PROD DC's
but it asks for domain credentials. I cannot do the same from another server
in PROD domain. Also PROD does not appear to allow passthrough
authentication.
