how do i tell the router to accept or not accept ports.
for example, how would i tell my ruter to accept port 59.

Hi,

Presumably you are asking about setting up persistent and application
triggered port forwarding.

I suggest you read the persistent and application triggered port forwarding
sections of your Microsoft router's manual.
