Just got our DC up and running and connected the first WXP workstation to it
and would like to replicate a method of working we have seen on another
network. When the users logs on to the domain they are presented with a
desktop which only contains the folders and applications they are permitted
to use.(would these apps be local or on the server) They can add to or
delete these folders but if they do they reappear at the next log on (minus
any new additions) Obviously, this desktop view is being supplied from the
DC, but from where and how?
