Hi
I am trying to install the software for a wireless LAN
adaptor onto a Win 98 desktop PC. I had, I thought, all
the necessary disks.

At the point when I plug in the adaptor, an error comes
on screen saying: Can't find the file 98fe, and it quotes
a path which doesn't exist. It asks for the Win98 CD for
the machine. I put that in the machine, and it can't find
the file.
I check, and the 98fe file is NOT present on the Win98
disk, nor on the software provided on the disk from the
LAN adaptor. I can't find any reference to the file on
the web either.

Can anone help me out here? This whole wireless stuff is
getting my "Y" fronts all knotted.
Thanks.......please reply to the address that follows.
