98 / XP wireless networking internet thing

I have Netgear MA101 wireless adapter on my Win98
machine. I have another machine, XP wired to Netgear
MR814v2 router. The router then is hooked to the cable
modem (3Com).

I can share files / printers between the XP and 98
machine with no problem.

I can access email and web from the XP machine. I CANT
see any web sites from the 98 machine nor do email.

any thoughts
