I attempted to add a second user to a 98SE box on a peer to peer
network. I decided against adding the second user and deleted it.
Subsequently my single user now only has intermittent access to the
network...10% of restarts results in network connectivity.

1. user typically hits cancel at the network logon. previously, this
has had no effect on network connectivity. how do i get rid of the
network logon prompt?

2. ideas on how to ensure network connectivity?

ps....my network troubleshooter isn't working correctly. after
selecting a value in the trouble shooter, the next screen is blank.
im working on trying to fix that now.

thanks a bunch.

JB

Change your primary logon from client for ms networks to windows logon
and use a blank password with your username. Then you will be logged
on without seeing a logon screen next time around.

As it is at the moment, if you want the network to work, stop clicking
on cancel, enter your username/password and click OK

Jim.
