Hello,
I have a Cisco aironet 1100 access point.
it works fine with 802.1x clients.
What I would like to do is to use this acccess point
both with 802.1x (putting the authenticated clients into a VLAN)
and without 802.1x for clients which cannot use this standard
putting them into another VLAN.
is it possible to configure the AP1100 to work in this way ?
If I enable 802.1x looks like that only 802.1x can negotiate
a connection.

thanks

Rick

Sure - you can set up one SSID/VLAN for 802.1x authentication
and another for some other kind of authentication (open, MAC,
shared-key, WPA-PSK, whatever.)
