802.11g card install error

I am trying to install a 802.11g card on my Win 98
machine. The card is recognised, however in device manager
there is an error for status. The error reads "The
NDIS.VXD, NTKERN.VXD device loader for this devide could
not load the device driver. [Code 2].

Any leads on how to fix it.

Upgrade to Win 98 SE
