Does anyone know how to configure a 54g integrated wireless card in winxp
(eMachines M6805) to work with a d-link 802.11b router (DI-713P)? I've
tried everything. The only way I got it to work at all was to remove the
wireless adapter from the "network bridge". It now works, but often drops
out and disconnects. And it takes a long time to connect - when it does.
I'm not using WEP, etc. and SSID is "any".

I'm using a mini-pci 54g card with my 713P with no problems.

Do you have any other cards that -do- work OK? Maybe you have a more
basic problem such as interference from a neighbor using the same
channel or 2.4 GHz cordless phones.

Mike,

Yes, other cards do work very well (D-link DWL-650) even in the new
computer.
