802.11a card not detected

Am trying to install a Proxim skyline 802.11a cardbus in a Gateway 9100
running XP Pro. The card is not being detected. Tested card in another
machine, and the pcimia slots do work with other cards (wired). Have
uninstalled & reinstalled with Proxim support multiple times.

So the card is not even *detected* (the wizard does not pop up) ?
or it appears in device manager as "other device" / has some problem?

the only thing i can tell you that you have to chek if any cable loose inside
the pc or m aybe somthing is not compatible with that card you can also chee
ck if therese other card int get all the other network card and put that card
that may solf the problem be carefull hope this is usefull information
to you it can be more simple but i need to know moore
